Feistritz an der Gail (AUSTRIA) – Valbruna
An imposing mountain range characterizes this stretch of the Alpe Adria Trail, the passage from Austria to Italy takes place between the Carnic Alps, at the foot of Mount Oisternig along the Accomizza mountain hut. Then you descend into Italian territory to reach Camporosso and then Valbruna. Overnight stay in Valbruna.
Valbruna – Monte Lussari – Tarvisio
Between Valbruna and Tarvisio the route reaches an altitude of 1790m on Monte Lussari, with its picturesque Marian Sanctuary. Descent into the valley along the Pilgrim's path towards Camporosso and then towards Tarvisio. Dinner and overnight stay.
TARVISIO - FUSINE LAKES / FUSINE
From Tarvisio, continue along the Monte Borgo walk to reach the Alpe Adria cycle path that leads to Fusine. Continue along the tour of the Lower and Upper Lakes and to the Zacchi refuge. Overnight stay.
Fusine/Zacchi Hutte – Kranjska Gora (SLO)
Descending from the Zacchi Refuge you reach Kranjska Gora from where the transfer to return to Feistritz (Austria) is scheduled.
